Alongside her NHS role, Penny works as a freelance dietitian on different types of projects. She provides mentoring, training & lectures to peers, healthcare professionals & student dietitians on various aspects of paediatric nutrition & dietetics.
Penny has a passion for delivering evidence-based, up to date information to ensure parents & their children get accurate, patient-centred advice to allow them to growth & flourish throughout childhood.

She is particularly interested in allergy, weaning and plant-based diets.

Judy has been freelancing in private practice, writing for publications and with charities in the past year.
Clinical interests: food allergies, gastrointestinal disorders (IBD, coeliac disease, allergies), mental health, eating disorders including ARFID. She understands how nutrition impacts particular developmental windows through childhood and adolescence.
Judy is passionate about helping families to treat nutritional problems holistically, ensuring family mealtimes and healthy eating behaviours remain a priority.
